About Cosmodaddy

I’m a sociologist and photographer. More often than not the two interests will collide and I’ll talk about it here, sometimes they’ll win out separately. If you want to see all my photography work, you’re more than welcome to visit my Flickr account whenever you like – I’m quite prolific, although it’s up to you decide whether or not I’m any good.

I’m a comments whore too, so you’re welcome to leave a message too. I tend to prefer not to write too much in spaces like this – if you want to find out more about me, look at my posts!

    Hey there Cosmodaddy,

I just finished watching your documentary (the man who drank the Universe)
Thank you for sharing that experience. I have not had the time to check out your photos on flickr yet, but plan to when I get some valuable time.

Anyway I know how nice it is to get comments and I wanted to share with you how much I enjoyed watching your docu.

    Thanks for sharing it

PS Looks like Xmas was a great time. Peace : ]

    Hi akaMat,

That wasn’t me – I was hoping it would be obvious, but in hindsight I should have added some disclaimer below the video. That’s Alistair Appleton, TV presenter and my meditation teacher. He is extremely good at both. I appreciate your taking the time to comment though, and my Christmas *was* a great time. I hope it was for you too.

    Hi there,
I was looking through your photos and I was wondering if I can use the one of the Burmese monks for my assignment for school.
    Thanks in advanced.

Sure you can. My photos are protected by a Creative Commons licence – if you ask, the answer will probably be yes. If you want to make money off them the answer is no. So…yes! :)

Just been checking out your Flickr photos, I loved the picture of the threads in particular plus the Pompidou picture was a very big hit with my 4 year old who saw me looking at it.

You’re right Paul, it should still be there. Sorry, I’ll sort it later today. I’m also not ignoring the news about Babi and John, it just takes longer to get a post out I’m happy with the quality of. It too will be rectified later today with any luck.

Thank you so much for your comments about Deborah Orr’s dreadfully flawed article on Cottaging.

I could happily slap her for such poor journalism & bigotry.

Did you read & hear Vanessa Feltz on the same day, even worse, she accused G.M. of being ‘Sexually Immoral’, did she think he was having it off with his drugs, half way through a long complaint to the BBC.

Lastly did you complain to the Independent? I hope so, so far they have received no complaints over Ms Orr’s article!

    Many thanks, Daniel

I just wanted to say thank you Cosmodaddy for allowing me to throw my two cents into the conversations on your site and offer a different view, whether appreciated or not, to situations we encounter in life.

Hopefully I haven’t caused too many problems for you.

Hey there Cosmo Daddy, I just took your poll with the questions on gay issues. Great poll, though one small problem. The question concerning Do I believe if my religion says homosexuality is wrong, is misleading. As I jew I believe that my religion say’s Homosexuality is wrong, the whole ,am shall not lie with another man thing, but I think you are asking if those taking the Poll Believe as their religion states.
If G_D made people then G_D made Homosexuals. So no I do not believe that it is wrong. Though the Bible say’s it is. I hope I have made my thoughts on this clear. Thanks,
    CC
